Atlantis The Royal is seeking a Hostess for Gastronomy. The position welcomes guests, helps manage the arrival and seating process and ensures that each visitor receives a positive first impression. The hostess communicates waiting times, monitors the waiting list, guides guests to their tables and coordinates with restaurant colleagues to keep the front-of-house operation running smoothly.

The restaurant environment requires polished presentation, confident communication and the ability to engage naturally with guests from different backgrounds. The hostess should remain organised when the outlet is busy and make sure that guest requests and seating updates are passed to the relevant team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and make them feel welcome.
• Communicate expected waiting times clearly and courteously.
• Monitor the waiting list and support an orderly seating process.
• Escort guests to tables and coordinate with restaurant service colleagues.
• Respond to guest questions and communicate relevant requests to the team.
• Maintain professional presentation and a positive attitude during busy periods.
• Bid farewell to guests and support a consistent arrival-to-departure experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

• International exposure in a similar role or around two years in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
