General Manager

Paramount Hotel Dubai is seeking a General Manager to lead the hotel's overall operational, commercial and guest-experience performance. The General Manager will own profitability and business results, lead the Executive Committee and ensure every department operates against agreed financial, service and operational standards. The role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team development, commercial opportunities, innovation and operational efficiency while protecting the brand experience. The successful candidate will also work closely with ownership, asset management and key stakeholders to support long-term business performance. Strong Rooms and Food & Beverage knowledge is highly desirable, and Middle East or resort experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall hotel profitability, business performance and strategic execution.
• Lead the Executive Committee and align departments with operational, financial and service standards.
• Champion guest experience and use feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing and engaged hotel team.
• Identify commercial opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Protect brand standards while encouraging innovation and service excellence.
• Partner with ownership, asset management and key stakeholders.
• Monitor business performance and translate strategy into measurable results.
• Maintain strong oversight of Rooms, F&B and wider hotel operations.
• Support a culture of accountability, collaboration and professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a 5-star hotel or resort.
• Proven record of improving profitability, guest satisfaction and operational performance.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Experience working with owners and asset managers.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Middle East and resort experience is an advantage.
• Business or Hotel Management qualification; MBA is advantageous.
• Fluent business English; Arabic is highly desirable.
