Commis Chef – Dubai

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Commis Chef - Dubai to support supporting high-quality food and beverage operations while maintaining food safety, hygiene, consistency and guest-service standards. The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is structured as a full-time opportunity. The role requires consistent food quality, safe food handling, kitchen organization and effective teamwork. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards of accuracy, service, compliance and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook or support menu items according to approved recipes, quality standards and production requirements.
• Maintain food safety, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitation procedures throughout the shift.
• Monitor ingredients, stock levels, storage conditions and FIFO rotation to minimize waste and shortages.
• Keep kitchen equipment, workstations and storage areas clean, organized and ready for service.
• Coordinate with chefs, service teams and supervisors to maintain accurate timing, presentation and product quality.
• Support training, teamwork, guest requirements and operational improvements as appropriate to the position.

Candidate Requirements

• Hospitality / Culinary Certificate or an equivalent qualification appropriate to the position.
• Typical relevant experience: 2 - 4 Years; candidates should review the employer's requirements for the exact role.
• Culinary or hospitality knowledge
• Food safety and HACCP awareness where required
• Attention to quality and hygiene
