Hostess

Kitopi is hiring a professional Hostess in Dubai to create a welcoming first impression for restaurant guests. The role involves greeting customers, managing reservations and waitlists, coordinating seating and supporting smooth front-of-house service. The successful candidate should be friendly, well-presented and comfortable handling multiple guest requests in a busy hospitality environment. Strong communication, professional grooming and the ability to remain calm under pressure are important for delivering a consistent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists and seating arrangements using available systems.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Communicate estimated waiting times and accommodate guest requests when possible.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to improve seating flow and table turnover.
• Answer calls and respond to guest enquiries professionally.
• Maintain the entrance and front-of-house area in a clean, organized condition.
• Handle guest concerns and escalate issues to management when required.
• Assist with basic administrative and team-support tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hostess or customer-facing experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive service attitude.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays; reservation-system familiarity is an advantage.
