First Officer

The First Officer supports safe and efficient airline operations as part of a multi-crew flight deck. The role requires sound aircraft handling, preparation, communication and adherence to procedures, while working closely with the Captain and wider operational teams throughout each duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for flights by reviewing aircraft status, weather, routes, fuel and operational documentation.
• Operate the aircraft in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with the Captain and cabin crew to maintain safe, effective operations.
• Monitor aircraft systems and conditions, communicating and responding to changes appropriately.
• Complete flight records and post-flight documentation accurately.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid ICAO ATPL and unrestricted Class 1 medical, with required English language proficiency.
• For applicable Boeing pathways, at least 2,000 total flight hours with the specified jet and type experience.
• For applicable Airbus pathways, at least 2,000 hours on qualifying large jet aircraft and required Airbus fly-by-wire experience.
• Meet current-type and recent-flight-hour requirements, including the stated recent hours on type.
