Description
Qatar Executive is seeking current Bombardier BD-700 Type Rated Captains in Doha for its business-jet charter operation. The role involves leading flight operations with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, customer service and regulatory compliance. Candidates must meet the required flight-time thresholds, hold a valid pilot licence and medical certificate, and demonstrate recent jet experience.
Aviation duties require disciplined preparation, reliable communication and compliance with manuals and regulations. Sound judgment, complete records and prompt escalation keep safety at the centre of daily work.
Key Responsibilities
- Command assigned BD-700 flights and ensure safe operation in accordance with approved procedures.
- Lead flight planning, briefing, crew coordination and decision-making throughout each duty.
- Maintain compliance with aviation regulations, aircraft limitations, operational manuals and company standards.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance and service teams to support safe and reliable flight delivery.
- Maintain accurate flight records and professional communication with crew, customers and operational stakeholders.
- Complete related duties assigned by the manager or supervisor while following approved procedures and service expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5,000 hours total aeroplane flight time.
- At least 2,000 hours on jet aircraft and 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command on multi-crew jets.
- At least 500 hours on the respective aircraft type, excluding simulator time.
- Valid ICAO, EASA or FAA ATPL, current Class 1 medical, instrument-rating history, English proficiency level 4 and jet flight within the last 12 months.
