Type Rated First Officer Boeing

Qatar Airways is recruiting experienced, type-rated Boeing First Officers for operations based in Doha. The role supports safe and professional flight operations as part of a multi-crew airline environment. Candidates must hold the appropriate pilot qualifications and current medical and instrument privileges, and meet the required flight-time and recent-experience thresholds for an accepted Boeing type.

Aviation duties require disciplined preparation, reliable communication and compliance with manuals and regulations. Sound judgment, complete records and prompt escalation keep safety at the centre of daily work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as First Officer within the assigned multi-crew flight deck and follow approved operating procedures.
• Support safe flight planning, briefings, aircraft operation and coordination with the Captain and other operational teams.
• Apply airline procedures and regulatory requirements throughout normal, abnormal and emergency operations.
• Maintain accurate flight documentation and comply with relevant flight-time, rest and safety requirements.
• Demonstrate professional communication and sound decision-making while contributing to a coordinated flight crew.
• Complete related duties assigned by the manager or supervisor while following approved procedures and service expectations.

Requirements

• At least 1,000 hours total flight time on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet operations with MTOW of 30,000 kg or higher.
• At least 500 hours on one of the specified Boeing types, including B787, B777, B767, B757, B747 or B737NG/MAX.
• Current ICAO ATPL or frozen ATPL with valid instrument rating on an accepted type and a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
• ATPL theoretical knowledge, English Language Proficiency level 4 and a recent flight on an accepted type within the past 12 months are required.
