Accelerated Command

The Accelerated Command pathway is intended for experienced pilots seeking a command progression opportunity on eligible aircraft. Selection focuses on flight experience, recent time on type, valid licences and demonstrated readiness to take on Captain-level operational responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead flight planning and aircraft operation in accordance with approved operating procedures.
• Use sound judgement to manage weather, technical and operational changes.
• Coordinate effectively with the flight crew and other operational teams.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required training, checks and briefings.
• Demonstrate consistent safety leadership, decision-making and professional standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid ICAO ATPL and unrestricted Class 1 medical.
• At least 5,000 flight hours, including Pilot-in-Command experience on Airbus fly-by-wire or Boeing aircraft.
• English language proficiency level 5 or above.
• At least 150 hours on the relevant type during the preceding 12 months, alongside applicable fleet requirements.
