Description
The Senior Manager for Revenue Assurance protects revenue integrity across business units through effective controls, accurate billing and data validation. The role leads a shared-services team and partners with finance, operations, IT, commercial and data teams to reduce leakage, strengthen revenue processes and improve reporting. It also drives standardization, automation and insight-led changes that support financial performance and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end revenue controls across order-to-cash, billing, invoicing and collections, identifying weaknesses that can cause revenue leakage.
- Lead reconciliation, variance analysis and root-cause investigations, and validate pricing, contracts, discounts, promotions and revenue adjustments.
- Ensure revenue-recognition processes comply with IFRS and internal policy, working with internal and external auditors on reviews.
- Drive shared-services transformation through standardized workflows, automation, dashboards and anomaly-detection tools, including RPA or AI/ML solutions where suitable.
- Manage and coach teams responsible for billing, assurance checks and reporting; provide KPIs, performance scorecards and executive insights to senior leaders.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Be a Chartered Accountant with seven to twelve years in finance shared services, revenue assurance or order-to-cash, including three to five years in a managerial role.
- Have a record of leading transformation or digitalization initiatives and improving finance processes.
- Understand ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or MS Dynamics and reporting or automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate or RPA.
- Bring strong knowledge of internal controls, contracts, financial governance and large-scale data analysis.
- Communicate with senior stakeholders, manage change and develop teams using evidence-based decision-making.
Skills
Lean or Six Sigma experience and certifications in RPA, Power BI or digital transformation are useful additional strengths.
