Job Overview

Landmark Group is hiring a Footwear Designer (Womens Fashion) in Dubai. The role converts seasonal trends into commercially relevant women's footwear collections and manages design development through technical specifications, samples, trims and production communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate seasonal fashion trends into commercial footwear styles.
• Create detailed CAD designs, colourways and production tech packs.
• Develop technical specifications covering upper patterns, last shapes, heel specifications, hardware and outsole designs.
• Communicate clear design and technical requirements to buyers and suppliers.
• Review prototype samples, assess fit and material quality and provide correction comments.
• Work with the buying team to meet target price points and range requirements.
• Create 2D graphic layouts for trims, buckles, branding plates and other physical components.
• Use AI tools to iterate on logo concepts, pattern variations and moodboard imagery where appropriate.
• Support a commercially relevant range that reflects customer and market trends.

Requirements

• Relevant footwear or fashion design experience.
• Strong understanding of footwear construction and technical specifications.
• CAD and technical drawing capability.
• Ability to develop tech packs and communicate effectively with suppliers.
• Strong trend awareness, creativity and commercial understanding.
• Ability to work collaboratively with design, buying and product development teams.
