General Manager – Facility Management

A UAE-based conglomerate is looking for a General Manager to lead and grow its Facilities Management division. This senior role covers operational delivery, commercial performance, profit and loss ownership, client relationships and business development. The division provides both hard and soft facilities management services across a varied portfolio that includes commercial, retail, residential and sports facilities. The General Manager will be expected to strengthen service standards, develop the team and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers while building a sustainable and profitable operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the division's profit and loss, commercial performance and operational delivery.
• Lead hard and soft facilities management services across multiple sites and service environments.
• Drive business growth through tenders, new opportunities, contract renewals and client retention.
• Improve service delivery, contract margins, service-level agreement performance and operational efficiency.
• Lead, organise and develop a growing multi-site facilities management team.
• Maintain senior relationships with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders, addressing service concerns and supporting long-term partnerships.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service quality and commercial results.

Requirements and Experience

• At least 15 years of experience in Facilities Management, including substantial senior leadership responsibility.
• A strong record of managing multi-site facilities management portfolios.
• Proven profit and loss ownership and commercial accountability.
• Broad experience across both hard services and soft services.
• Strong client relationship, operational management and people leadership capabilities.
• The ability to manage competing operational priorities while maintaining service standards and commercial discipline.
