Enterprise Analyst – SAP SD

A leading global retailer in the UAE is looking for an Enterprise Applications Analyst to deliver SAP SD initiatives across the Middle East. This business-facing position combines SAP functional knowledge with project and programme management. The analyst will take ownership of Order-to-Cash and related Supply Chain processes, coordinate business and technology teams, and guide initiatives from requirements assessment through testing, deployment and post-launch support. The role requires a practical understanding of retail operations and the ability to translate business needs into robust enterprise application solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise application projects from requirements and solution assessment through planning, build, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, hypercare and handover.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources and governance across regional business teams, global technology teams and system integrators.
• Analyse SAP SD processes covering sales orders, pricing, deliveries, goods issue, billing, returns, credits and the full Order-to-Cash cycle.
• Support Supply Chain and Logistics activities, including SAP configuration, troubleshooting, delivery documentation, stock checks and post-goods-issue processes.
• Perform requirements, fit-gap and impact analysis, identify cross-functional dependencies and promote standard SAP capabilities where suitable.
• Assess integrations such as IDocs, messages and APIs, and coordinate incident analysis and corrective actions.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure solutions are tested, documented, supportable and ready for operational handover.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Five to seven years of enterprise-scale project or programme management experience; S/4HANA migration experience is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on SAP SD experience in retail, including Order-to-Cash, pricing, sales orders, delivery, billing and returns.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration and an understanding of ECC and S/4HANA.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management certification is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent English is required; Arabic or French is an advantage.

Employment Details

The role is based in Dubai and supports multi-market retail operations across the Middle East. Experience with regional pricing, tax and operational requirements, as well as ITIL, SAP Activate or service transition, will be beneficial.
