Project Engineer (Pump Packages)

NOV is seeking a Project Engineer – Pump Packages in Dubai to lead complex pump-package projects across its Production and Midstream Technology portfolio. The role covers execution from project handover or purchase order through engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, shipment, commissioning support and close-out. The engineer will coordinate technical, commercial and operational interfaces while managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pump package projects from award and handover through final documentation and close-out.
• Coordinate Sales, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Service, vendors and customers.
• Manage project schedules, critical-path activities, risks, changes and technical issues.
• Review and coordinate general arrangements, P&IDs, hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation and electrical schemes.
• Support package engineering for reciprocating, centrifugal, PCP, MPP and ALS systems.
• Coordinate vendor documentation, testing, manufacturing and inspection requirements.
• Support commissioning, shipment, handover, warranty interfaces and final manufacturing data records.
• Ensure projects comply with contractual requirements, quality standards, HSE expectations and applicable codes.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant project engineering/package execution experience, including 5 years in pump or process packages.
• Knowledge of pumps, engines, motors, gearboxes, couplings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and controls.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, ATEX and related package requirements.
• Experience with VFD, PLC, automation and oilfield equipment packaging.
• PMP or equivalent project-management certification is advantageous.
