Maintenance Supervisor – Everyday Good Manufacturing

The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates maintenance in a manufacturing environment to maximise equipment availability, safe operation, and production continuity. The role leads technicians and utilities work, establishes preventive maintenance schedules, responds to breakdowns, and ensures food safety and statutory requirements are respected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise maintenance staff to support safe and productive operation.
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules for plant equipment, utilities, and facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance work with production and other departments to minimise disruption.
• Diagnose faults in electrical panels, motors, relays, sensors, inverters, servo drives, and control systems.
• Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics; troubleshoot boards and safety circuits.
• Support PLC/HMI, VFD, refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, compressed-air, chiller, and related utility systems.
• Enforce safety inspections, correct unsafe conditions, and maintain proper technical and maintenance records.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant industrial maintenance experience, ideally in food or manufacturing operations.
• Practical knowledge of electrical controls, industrial automation, PLCs/HMIs, VFDs, and utility systems.
• Ability to supervise technicians, plan maintenance, and diagnose complex faults.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work safely under production requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety culture, food safety, and statutory compliance.
