Technician 2, Carpenter – Residences

Atlantis The Royal is looking for a Technician 2, Carpenter to support maintenance across its Residences. The position involves carrying out assigned maintenance tasks and helping keep property areas, facilities and associated systems in suitable working condition. The technician will report to supervisors and managers, respond to maintenance requirements and contribute to both preventive and reactive work.

The role requires a practical maintenance background and the ability to diagnose problems, work efficiently under pressure and follow site procedures. Work may involve restricted-access areas and coordination with other facilities trades, so communication, safe working practices and timely escalation of issues are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned carpentry and facilities-maintenance tasks across the property.
• Support preventive and reactive maintenance activities as scheduled.
• Inspect reported issues, diagnose faults and assist with suitable rectification.
• Work with facilities trades covering carpentry, painting, mechanical and electrical systems as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures when working in restricted-access or operational areas.
• Report progress, problems and unresolved issues to the supervisor or manager.
• Assist colleagues and coordinate work to minimise disruption to residents and property operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in a maintenance facility trade.
• A diploma or Trade School Certification.
• Experience with facilities-maintenance trades and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Background in both preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure, enter restricted-access areas and escalate issues when needed.
