Head – Operations (Smart Solutions)

We One is seeking a Head – Operations (Smart Solutions) in Dubai to lead the end-to-end delivery of ELV and smart-solution projects, including security, ICT, audiovisual systems, BMS interfaces, and low-current technologies. The position will oversee project performance, operational resources, commercial controls, quality, HSE, client relationships, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of smart-solution projects.
• Ensure projects meet approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client requirements.
• Approve delivery plans, methodologies, schedules, and resource strategies.
• Resolve escalated technical, site, manpower, commercial, and operational issues.
• Control project costs, margins, cash flow, forecasts, variations, and commercial risks.
• Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, procurement, vendors, and technical resources.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely availability of project materials and systems.
• Enforce quality standards, inspections, method statements, authority requirements, and HSE compliance.
• Act as a senior operational contact for key clients and consultants and support escalation management.
• Conduct project reviews, monitor KPIs, standardize project controls, and implement lessons learned.
• Support business development with technical, operational, and delivery inputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• PMP certification is required; a relevant master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
• 10–15 years of experience in smart solutions or project-delivery operations.
• Previous experience leading operations or managing project managers.
• Experience with government or construction projects is preferred.
• Experience managing major projects with full lifecycle responsibility is expected.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, reporting, contract-review, and risk-identification skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, and PDF tools.
