The Department of Computer Science at Khalifa University is inviting applications for full-time faculty positions at the ranks of Assistant and Associate Professor. Exceptional candidates may be considered for the Full Professor level.

We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in:

• Software Engineering
• Quantum Computing (from a Computer Science perspective)
• Cybersecurity

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to:

• Develop and lead a high-impact, internationally visible research program
• Publish in top-tier journals and CORE-ranked conferences
• Attract competitive external research funding
• Teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• Supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, as well as undergraduate projects
• Collaborate across disciplines within the university and with global academic and industry partners
• Participate in departmental, university, and professional service

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution

Research Excellence:

• Strong record of publications in top venues (CORE A*/A conferences, top 10% Scopus journals)
• Scopus H-index requirements:
• Minimum 6 for Assistant Professor
• Minimum 15 for Associate Professor

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability (or strong potential) to secure competitive research funding
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and mentorship
• For Associate: Evidence of academic leadership, graduate supervision, and professional service
