Associate/Full Professor in Master and PhD programs in Engineering Management

The Associate/Full Professor will contribute to master’s and PhD programmes in Engineering Management through advanced teaching, graduate supervision, research, and academic leadership. The role supports programme quality and helps students integrate engineering knowledge with management, innovation, and organisational practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach master’s and doctoral courses in engineering management and related areas, using research-informed and practice-oriented approaches.
• Design and refresh syllabi, assessments, project work, and research activities to reflect current management and engineering practice.
• Supervise graduate research, dissertations, theses, and doctoral work, supporting rigorous research methods and timely progress.
• Develop an active research programme, publish in respected journals, and seek collaboration with academic and industry partners.
• Contribute to programme accreditation, curriculum development, graduate supervision processes, and university committees.
• Help strengthen links between engineering leadership, innovation, project delivery, operations, and organisational decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A doctorate in Engineering Management or a closely related field, with qualifications and experience appropriate to the appointed rank.
• Evidence of university teaching, graduate supervision, research output, and engagement with scholarly or professional communities.
• Strong presentation, mentoring, academic writing, and collaboration skills; substantial scholarship is expected for senior-rank appointments.
