Senior Magento Developer – Level Shoes

The Senior Magento Developer will help evolve the Level Shoes e-commerce platform, delivering reliable experiences for customers and internal teams. The role combines hands-on development with technical ownership across platform improvements, integrations, performance and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise and maintain Magento solutions and supporting services for catalogue, customer, cart, checkout, order and payment journeys.
• Integrate Magento with enterprise systems and external partners through secure APIs, queues and webhooks.
• Review code, investigate defects, improve performance and support controlled releases through CI/CD.
• Work with product, design, operations and commercial teams to turn requirements into maintainable solutions.
• Protect platform security, data quality and availability while documenting technical decisions and operational procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Magento 2, PHP, object-oriented development and e-commerce integrations.
• Knowledge of REST or GraphQL APIs, databases, caching, search, Git, automated testing and deployment practices.
• A practical, collaborative approach to debugging, code review, scalability and production ownership.
