Description
The Principal, Multi-System Integration Technical Execution Lead supports technically complex prefabricated modular data-centre solutions. The role helps translate customer requirements into validated architectures that combine electrical, mechanical, structural, cooling, and fire-related systems. Working with sales and opportunity leaders, the technical lead develops proposals, explains integration choices, coordinates stakeholders, and helps ensure that the final design is suitable for factory integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customers’ data-centre requirements, constraints, operational processes, and decision criteria.
- Develop and adapt tested, validated, and documented architectures that meet functional specifications and customer needs.
- Provide technical input for complex proposals spanning electrical, mechanical, structural, cooling, and fire systems.
- Review requests for quotation and document compliance, deviations, exceptions, and proposed technical solutions.
- Support sales and opportunity leaders during customer discussions, technical presentations, and solution validation.
- Coordinate internal business units, factories, suppliers, procurement, supply chain, quality, and external partners.
- Track technology developments and recommend practical improvements to modular and prefabricated data-centre solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- More than ten years of experience in the data-centre industry, including secure power, cooling, and electrical or mechanical installation systems.
- Uptime or Data Center Dynamics certification, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles and complex solution design is preferred.
- Fluent English, strong problem-solving, organisation, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
