Description
The Services and Solutions Procurement Manager leads sourcing decisions for service-related offers and complex customer projects. The role improves competitiveness and execution by selecting suitable suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and aligning supply-chain choices with project scope, safety, schedules, and quality requirements. It works with project teams and suppliers to manage procurement risks, develop partnerships, and deliver value across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement planning for services and solutions, including large or technically complex tenders and projects.
- Identify, assess, select, and onboard suppliers using commercial, technical, delivery, quality, and compliance criteria.
- Negotiate contracts and service terms to obtain competitive pricing and dependable project outcomes.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, finance, legal, logistics, and supply-chain colleagues on sourcing strategy.
- Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, performance, risks, and required corrective actions.
- Ensure procurement decisions respect applicable customs requirements, internal standards, and project safety expectations.
- Develop supplier relationships and improve procurement processes to support cost control and successful execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, project purchasing, or services and solutions supply chains.
- Strong commercial judgement and contract-negotiation capability.
- Experience evaluating suppliers and coordinating procurement for project-based work.
- Ability to balance cost, quality, schedule, safety, and delivery risk.
- Strong communication and collaboration with internal project teams and external suppliers.
