Commis I – Hot Kitchen

Support the hot-kitchen operation by preparing ingredients, maintaining mise en place and assisting chefs during service. The role requires attention to food quality, hygiene, organization and timing while working within established recipes and kitchen procedures. This full-time opportunity is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and supports the hotel's daily operations and guest experience. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized and able to work effectively with colleagues across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place for the assigned hot-kitchen section.
• Assist chefs with cooking and food preparation during service.
• Follow recipes, portioning and presentation instructions.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and safe food-handling practices.
• Keep workstations, equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with stock rotation and communicate ingredient shortages.

Requirements

• Relevant professional kitchen experience and practical knowledge of the assigned section.
• Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, sanitation and HACCP requirements.
• Professional attitude and ability to follow company standards and procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
