Commis 3 Chef – Cold Kitchen

Provide entry-level culinary support within the cold kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with mise en place and maintaining clean, organized workstations. The role offers practical exposure to professional hotel kitchen standards while supporting daily production and service. This full-time opportunity is based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates and supports the hotel's daily operations and guest experience. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized and able to work effectively with colleagues across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with ingredient preparation and daily cold-kitchen mise en place.
• Support chefs with salads, garnishes and basic cold-food preparations.
• Follow recipes, portion guidance and presentation standards.
• Maintain safe food handling, hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Keep workstations, utensils and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist with storage, labeling and stock rotation.

Requirements

• Relevant professional kitchen experience and practical knowledge of the assigned section.
• Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, sanitation and HACCP requirements.
• Professional attitude and ability to follow company standards and procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
