Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Senior Estimator Fit-out & Joinery position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed estimates for major fit-out and joinery tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender conditions.
• Develop quantity take-offs and build competitive cost models.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Analyze labour, material, plant, overhead and project risks.
• Prepare tender summaries, clarifications, exclusions and assumptions.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams before submission.
• Maintain historical cost data and improve estimating accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering or related field.
• Strong senior estimating experience in fit-out/joinery.
• Advanced Excel and estimating-software capability.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical skills and attention to detail.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
