Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Document Control Fit-out & Joinery position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain controlled project documentation for fit-out and joinery projects.
• Register drawings, submissions, approvals, revisions and transmittals.
• Distribute documents to relevant teams and maintain revision control.
• Track consultant comments and approval status.
• Archive superseded documents and maintain searchable records.
• Prepare document-status reports and outstanding-submission trackers.
• Coordinate with project, technical, procurement and site teams.
• Ensure documentation follows company and project procedures.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Document-control experience in construction, fit-out or joinery.
• Strong knowledge of document registers and revision management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document-management systems.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
