Commis I – Cold Kitchen

Assist the cold-kitchen team with preparation, mise en place and presentation of salads, cold dishes and related menu items. The role focuses on consistency, hygiene, organization and efficient support for daily kitchen production and service. This full-time opportunity is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and supports the hotel's daily operations and guest experience. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized and able to work effectively with colleagues across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place for cold-kitchen production.
• Assist with salads, cold dishes, garnishes and other assigned preparations.
• Follow recipes, portion standards and presentation requirements.
• Maintain correct food storage, temperature control and hygiene.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized.
• Support stock rotation and report ingredient shortages or quality concerns.

Requirements

• Relevant professional kitchen experience and practical knowledge of the assigned section.
• Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, sanitation and HACCP requirements.
• Professional attitude and ability to follow company standards and procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
