Commis I – Butchery

Support the butchery section with safe and organized preparation, trimming and portioning of meat and related ingredients for hotel kitchen production. The role requires careful handling, portion control, hygiene and close coordination with chefs and kitchen teams. This full-time opportunity is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and supports the hotel's daily operations and guest experience. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized and able to work effectively with colleagues across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, trimming and portioning of meat according to kitchen requirements.
• Follow established butchery methods, recipes and portion standards.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation and food-safety procedures.
• Store ingredients correctly and maintain appropriate temperature controls.
• Prepare daily mise en place for assigned production requirements.
• Keep knives, tools, equipment and work surfaces clean and safe.

Requirements

• Relevant professional kitchen experience and practical knowledge of the assigned section.
• Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, sanitation and HACCP requirements.
• Professional attitude and ability to follow company standards and procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
