Description
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking an Executive Manager for Business Banking in Dubai. The position supports growth in business and small-to-medium enterprise banking through customer acquisition, portfolio development and suitable financial solutions. It requires a strong commercial perspective balanced with sound credit judgement, quality service and adherence to the bank’s risk standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set priorities for business-banking growth and develop relationships with small and medium-sized businesses in the target market.
- Identify client needs and coordinate suitable lending, cash management, payments and other banking services.
- Monitor portfolio performance, customer retention, revenue activity and credit quality, taking action when issues emerge.
- Work with credit, product, operations and risk teams to progress proposals and deliver a dependable client experience.
- Review market and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and areas for improved coverage.
- Guide the team or assigned stakeholders toward agreed objectives while maintaining documentation and policy standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bring senior experience in SME, business or commercial banking, relationship management or a comparable financial-services role.
- Understand business customer needs, credit assessment fundamentals and responsible portfolio management.
- Demonstrate leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management ability along with a disciplined approach to risk.
- Use sound judgement, keep records accurate and follow relevant policies, confidentiality expectations and internal controls.
- Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.

- SME Lending, Client Acquisition, Portfolio Management, Credit Assessment and related practical methods relevant to the position.
