Lab Supervisor – Al & Robotics

The Lab Supervisor supports practical learning for the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics program at Al Ain University’s Al Ain campus. The role includes delivering laboratory sessions, supervising students, helping instructors prepare materials and contributing to departmental reporting and program quality activities. It is suited to a technically capable candidate who enjoys hands-on student support and can maintain an organized, safe and productive lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory sessions related to AI and Robotics, including demonstrations, student supervision and grading.
• Assist instructors with the preparation and delivery of course materials, equipment and practical exercises.
• Help students understand laboratory tasks and provide tutoring when requested by college management.
• Support departmental reports, program reviews and accreditation-related documentation as assigned.
• Participate in departmental and college activities that strengthen teaching and practical learning.
• Maintain orderly lab routines and communicate equipment or learning issues to the appropriate academic staff.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Robotics, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering is specified.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is important for teaching and lab communication.
• Arabic and English communication skills are requested.
• Prior work in a university or college environment is an advantage; fresh graduates may also apply.
• Candidates should be organized, courteous and comfortable collaborating with faculty and college staff.
