General Technician

The General Technician supports the hotel’s engineering and property-maintenance operation in Dubai. The role helps keep facilities, fixtures and equipment in good condition by completing assigned repairs, routine checks and maintenance tasks. The successful candidate works with colleagues to respond to operational issues, protect the comfort of guests and maintain a safe, tidy environment in line with hotel procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks across guest and back-of-house areas.
• Inspect fixtures and equipment, identify faults and report issues that require specialist attention.
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce operational interruptions.
• Respond to maintenance requests professionally and coordinate with other departments when access or timing is needed.
• Follow safe work practices, keep tools and work areas organized and observe hotel procedures.
• Record completed work and report parts, supplies or equipment that need replacement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in property or general maintenance is requested.
• A practical, hands-on approach and reliable task completion are important.
• Candidates should be able to identify problems and recommend workable solutions.
• Good communication and the ability to cooperate with colleagues are expected.
• Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hotel environment are beneficial.
