Job Overview

Landmark Group's Babyshop is hiring an Assistant Manager - Quality (Fit Technician) in Dubai. The role manages end-to-end technical development of babywear garments for boys and girls, ensuring correct fit, construction feasibility, product safety and production readiness from development through bulk production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical development of babywear garments across boys' and girls' categories.
• Review fit, construction and technical specifications during product development.
• Support product safety and production-readiness requirements.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams throughout development and bulk production.
• Review samples and identify fit or construction issues requiring correction.
• Provide technical feedback and follow up with suppliers on corrective actions.
• Ensure products meet agreed technical and quality expectations before production.
• Coordinate technical information to support smooth communication between design, buying, suppliers and production teams.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in garment technical development, fit or quality.
• Understanding of apparel construction, fitting and production processes.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional product teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical issues.
• Good communication, follow-up and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Profile & Role Expectations

The position is hands-on and technical, with responsibility for ensuring babywear garments are fit for purpose before reaching bulk production.
