Assistant Manager – Quality (Fit Technician)

Landmark Group is seeking an Assistant Manager - Quality (Fit Technician) to manage the technical development of babywear garments for boys and girls. The role covers product safety, fit, construction feasibility and production readiness from initial development through bulk production. The fit technician will create specifications and tech packs, guide suppliers, review samples and collaborate with buying and design teams to achieve right-first-time quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create specifications and technical packs from design boards and development inputs.
• Translate design concepts into technically feasible construction, specifications and grading.
• Provide suppliers with clear technical guidance during development.
• Ensure suppliers understand measurements, construction requirements and quality expectations.
• Support suppliers in achieving Right First Time performance.
• Review early-stage samples for child safety, construction risks and production feasibility.
• Evaluate samples with Buying and Design teams for fit, aesthetics, customer expectations, specifications and grading.
• Identify construction improvements before bulk production.
• Use CAD-based pattern-making knowledge to assess pattern balance, grading logic and garment construction.
• Support technical issue resolution with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain clear technical comments, approvals and development documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in garment technical development, fit or quality roles, preferably babywear or children's apparel.
• Knowledge of tech packs, specifications, garment construction and grading.
• Understanding of child-safety requirements and production feasibility.
• Knowledge of CAD-based pattern-making systems.
• Strong supplier communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work closely with buying, design and quality teams.
