The Senior UX Researcher helps the digital design team understand customer needs and evaluate the usability of banking products and services. The role plans and conducts research, turns customer evidence into actionable insights and works closely with product owners, designers and engineers to improve digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop research plans that align customer questions with product goals, delivery timelines and stakeholder needs.
- Choose suitable qualitative and quantitative research methods for discovery, concept evaluation and usability testing.
- Conduct customer interviews, usability sessions and other research activities with appropriate care and consistency.
- Analyse findings and translate observations into clear insights, journey improvements and design recommendations.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers and engineers throughout the digital product development lifecycle.
- Present research outcomes to stakeholders and help teams understand customer pain points and priorities.
- Maintain research notes, evidence and artefacts so findings can inform future product and service decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
The position requires strong research judgement, clear communication and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams. Experience with digital products, customer journeys and usability evaluation is relevant. Candidates should be comfortable translating qualitative evidence and product data into practical recommendations.

Employment Details
