Junior Naval Architect

The Junior Naval Architect supports the design, assessment, and technical development of marine vessels and related structures. Working under experienced engineers, the role contributes to design calculations, drawings, technical documentation, and reviews to help ensure vessels meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements. The position is based in UAE unless otherwise confirmed during recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with vessel design studies, general arrangements, structural layouts, and technical calculations.
• Prepare and revise drawings, models, specifications, and engineering documentation using relevant design tools.
• Support stability, weight, performance, and feasibility assessments under guidance from senior colleagues.
• Coordinate technical inputs with engineering, operations, classification, and project teams.
• Maintain document control and help check designs against project specifications, standards, and feedback.

Requirements and Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, marine engineering, or a closely related discipline is expected. Familiarity with CAD tools, engineering fundamentals, technical calculations, and structured documentation is beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate accuracy, willingness to learn, teamwork, and clear communication.
