The Marine Manager oversees day-to-day and long-term operational and technical performance across marine services, including relevant vessel and port-support activities. The position balances service quality, regulatory compliance, customer commitments, people management, and commercial performance. The position is based in Dubai, UAE unless otherwise confirmed during recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels and marine service teams are ready to meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate vessel maintenance, dockings, modifications, technical projects, crewing, and operational schedules.
• Develop budgets, project plans, technical specifications, and performance reports; monitor cost, quality, and delivery milestones.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, shipyards, regulators, and internal departments.
• Monitor safety, environmental, quality, and statutory compliance, ensuring incidents and corrective actions are properly followed up.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should have a relevant marine qualification or recognized certificate of competency, significant shore-based marine operations experience, and a record of managing vessels or marine teams. Strong leadership, budgeting, communication, risk assessment, and safety-management skills are important.

Skills and Competencies

Relevant skills include marine operations, tug and pilot boat management, vessel compliance, budgets, HSSEQ, client relations. The candidate should be proactive, organized, able to communicate clearly, and comfortable working collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
