Goods Flow Manager | Retail | IKEA YAS

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Goods Flow Manager for IKEA YAS in Abu Dhabi to lead store logistics and improve the availability and movement of merchandise. The role combines strategic planning with day-to-day operational management, ensuring inventory, people, equipment and processes work together to support efficient replenishment and a reliable customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and improve goods-flow operations so products move efficiently through receiving, storage, replenishment and customer collection processes.
• Plan logistics resources, staffing, equipment and delivery capacity to match expected sales and operational demand.
• Monitor goods-flow performance and relevant key indicators, identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical improvement plans.
• Ensure daily procedures, stock counting and merchandise pick-up activities follow agreed service standards and minimise unnecessary waiting.
• Maintain compliance with the company’s code of conduct and local health, safety, security and environmental requirements.
• Coach the goods-flow team, set priorities, delegate responsibilities and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in retail and/or logistics roles at tactical or operational level.
• Proven people leadership and experience managing business processes and operational performance.
• Ability to develop and follow action plans, manage budgets and work towards clear financial and service targets.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early or late shifts, as required by store operations.

Skills and Competencies

• Strategic thinking, strong communication and the ability to organise resources under changing demand.
• Good understanding of operational KPIs, stock flow, safety requirements and customer-facing logistics.
• Leadership, problem-solving and a practical approach to improving service, cost and inventory performance.
