Trainer – Soft Services

Deliver practical learning that strengthens cleaning quality, workplace discipline and service consistency across facilities operations. This full-time opportunity is based in the UAE and is suited to a professional who can combine strong functional knowledge with dependable execution, communication and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan weekly, bi-weekly and monthly training calendars for cleaning teams in coordination with supervisors and site requirements.
• Deliver classroom sessions, toolbox talks, demonstrations and on-the-job coaching covering cleaning methods, chemicals, tools, machinery and safe work practices.
• Assess employee competency through written tests, demonstrations and workplace observations, then provide targeted corrective coaching.
• Inspect common areas, washrooms, janitor rooms, offices, amenities and back-of-house areas to identify recurring quality gaps.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and training records using spreadsheets and internal systems.
• Review client observations and inspection findings and convert recurring issues into focused training interventions.
• Build positive working relationships with operational teams and clients and communicate improvement actions clearly.
• Promote efficient use of equipment, materials and resources while supporting service quality, contract performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 2 years of cleaning supervisory experience in a high-end facility; strong cleaning methods, chemicals, tools and machinery knowledge; training/presentation ability; EPT Level 3+ and good English.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to work with colleagues, clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare accurate reports, records and operational updates.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high standards in a fast-paced service environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain professional training standards, adapt delivery methods to different learner groups and use feedback to improve practical outcomes across sites.
