Staff Nurse and Dental Assistant – 5 Vacancies

Job Overview

Saudi German Hospital in Sharjah has five openings across nursing and dental support. The nursing positions cover the Operating Theatre, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical department, while a separate vacancy is available for a Dental Assistant. Each applicant should have training and practical experience relevant to the department selected, together with a valid SHA or MOH licence or the applicable eligibility status. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, considerate care to patients in accordance with hospital procedures and the needs of the assigned department.
• Assist physicians and other clinical staff with routine care, treatment activities and department-specific procedures.
• Observe patient conditions, report changes to the appropriate clinician and maintain clear clinical documentation.
• Support duties in the OT, ICU, ER or Medical-Surgical unit according to professional training and assigned scope.
• Follow infection-control measures, patient-identification requirements and other hospital safety protocols.
• For the Dental Assistant post, prepare the treatment area and support dental personnel with routine clinical operations.

Requirements and Skills

• Hold a valid SHA or MOH licence, or meet the relevant eligibility requirements for the position.
• Have clinical experience that matches the nursing department or dental support role being applied for.
• Demonstrate sound patient-care practices and confidence with relevant clinical tasks.
• Understand infection prevention, patient safety and accurate clinical record keeping.
• Communicate professionally and work effectively with a multidisciplinary hospital team.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

Nursing applicants should have a nursing diploma or degree and the required licensing status. Candidates for the Dental Assistant vacancy should hold a relevant dental assisting qualification and be familiar with routine dental clinical support.
