Service Technician, Dubai

Join the vehicle service team in Dubai as a Service Technician and contribute to a high-quality ownership experience for electric vehicle customers. This role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles using modern service equipment, specialist software and established technical procedures. The position is suited to a practical technician who enjoys solving technical problems, working with new automotive technology and maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs and technical service work on electric vehicles.
• Use vehicle-specific diagnostic software, workshop equipment and technical information to identify faults and complete repairs accurately.
• Inspect vehicles carefully before release and during pre-delivery checks to ensure work is completed to the required standard.
• Follow approved repair procedures, workshop safety requirements and quality controls while handling tools, equipment and vehicle systems.
• Investigate technical concerns methodically and recommend practical repair solutions.
• Work closely with service colleagues and regional teams to share technical knowledge, support difficult repairs and improve customer service processes.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair findings clearly to relevant team members.
• Continue developing knowledge of electric vehicle systems, new technology, diagnostic methods and repair techniques through structured training.

Requirements

• Professional experience in vehicle servicing or repairs, ideally within automotive, aviation, marine or a comparable technical environment.
• Relevant technical certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Good spoken and written English with the ability to explain technical information clearly and respectfully.
• A valid full GCC driving licence is required.
• Willingness to work shifts, including morning, evening or weekend schedules when required.
• Ability to travel for mobile repair assignments when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail, safe working habits and a customer-focused approach.
