Description
The Technician or Senior Technician - Installation supports installation, servicing or technical maintenance of assigned equipment and systems. The role involves preparing tools, following technical instructions, inspecting work and coordinating with supervisors and other trades. Senior technical positions may involve troubleshooting, mentoring or checking completed work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review work orders, drawings or installation instructions before beginning the task.
- Prepare tools and materials and complete assigned installation or maintenance activities safely.
- Inspect connections, fittings and completed work for accuracy and visible defects.
- Record work performed and report unusual conditions, missing parts or technical issues.
- Coordinate with other technicians and maintain a clean, safe work area.
