Senior Specialist – Data Engineering

The Senior Specialist - Data Engineering designs, builds, manages, and supports enterprise data pipelines and business intelligence environments. The role enables reliable reporting by developing ETL processes, preparing data for analytics, and working with business teams to translate reporting needs into robust technical solutions. It also supports iterative dashboard development, gathering feedback from users and refining requirements so that reports are useful, consistent, and based on trusted data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support ETL processes, data pipelines, and enterprise BI reporting environments.
• Work with business and cross-functional stakeholders to collect, document, validate, and approve analytics requirements.
• Prepare and transform data for reporting while maintaining reliable data flows, repeatable processing, and appropriate quality checks.
• Prototype dashboards and reporting views, demonstrate them to users, collect feedback, and refine requirements iteratively.
• Troubleshoot data-processing or reporting issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate resolution with relevant technology teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and support consistent, secure, and supportable analytics delivery.

Requirements

• Experience developing or supporting data engineering, ETL, analytics, or enterprise reporting solutions.
• Ability to translate business reporting needs into technical data requirements and delivery tasks.
• Understanding of data quality, pipeline monitoring, and dependable delivery of recurring reports.
• Comfort collaborating with business users, developers, analysts, and technology partners.
