Operations Manager – E-Commerce

Operations Manager - E-Commerce is an opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day work of Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position oversees day-to-day e-commerce fulfilment, coordinating picking, order preparation, marshalling and dispatch so online customers receive accurate orders on time. It connects store teams, fulfilment locations and delivery partners, while keeping service quality, product freshness, stock availability and operational costs in view.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate fulfilment activity across e-commerce operations and work closely with last-mile delivery teams to support dependable handovers.
• Track picking productivity, order accuracy, marshalling and dispatch performance, then address delays or recurring service issues.
• Monitor dark-store organisation and stock availability, working with retail and commercial colleagues to limit substitutions and out-of-stock orders.
• Coordinate with technology, merchandising, central services and store stakeholders to resolve operational issues and keep processes aligned.
• Support budget and profit-and-loss discipline through accurate operational reporting, practical improvement actions and clear follow-up with the relevant teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations, e-commerce fulfilment, logistics or a closely related service environment.
• Ability to organise several activities at once and make sound decisions when order volumes or delivery priorities change.
• Comfort with operational metrics, reports, productivity measures and routine performance reviews.
• A customer-focused approach, strong communication and the ability to motivate colleagues across different teams.
