Site Acquisition Manager - Carrefour is an opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day work of Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Site Acquisition Manager supports expansion by identifying and evaluating potential locations for Carrefour stores. The role combines market research, site assessment, negotiation and internal coordination to help secure suitable locations that meet commercial and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and maintain a pipeline of potential sites based on expansion priorities and market opportunities.
- Assess locations against relevant commercial, access, visibility, catchment, size and operational considerations.
- Coordinate site visits, feasibility inputs, commercial discussions and supporting documentation.
- Work with landlords, brokers, legal, finance, design and operations teams to progress potential transactions.
- Track opportunities, risks, approvals and negotiation outcomes, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in site acquisition, retail expansion, real estate, leasing or related property development activity.
- Commercial judgement and ability to compare locations using market information and business criteria.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building and project coordination skills.
- Organisation and attention to detail when maintaining a site pipeline and transaction documents.
