Description
The Manager – Estimation supports reliable project cost planning and the preparation of complete, competitive estimates. The role reviews project information, defines pricing assumptions and coordinates with stakeholders so that cost estimates reflect the scope, specifications, construction methods and relevant market inputs. Accuracy and clear documentation are essential to support budgeting and project decisions.
Dubai Holding seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Good coordination and careful document control help avoid rework and keep the development vision aligned with technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review cost estimates using available project information, scope, drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors on scope, quantities and pricing issues.
- Review construction methods, materials, equipment and package requirements to develop complete estimates.
- Identify gaps, assumptions, exclusions and cost risks, documenting them clearly for management.
- Support handover of awarded project packages with complete pricing and cost information.
- Maintain estimate records and contribute to improving cost-estimation methods and benchmarks.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Around 6–8 years of experience, including at least two years in an estimator role.
- RICS membership is desirable.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications and scope documents; CAD familiarity is useful.
- Strong project-management, time-management, collaboration and commercial-analysis skills.
