Junior Baker – Bakery – Madinat Jumeirah Resort

The Junior Baker assists the bakery team at Madinat Jumeirah Resort with preparation, production and presentation of breads, pastries and other baked products. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate recipe execution, consistent product quality and strict food-safety practices in a high-volume luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
• prepare doughs and batters
• assist with mixing, shaping, moulding and assembly
• follow recipes and production specifications
• inspect baked products for colour, texture and consistency
• maintain clean and organized bakery work areas
• operate equipment safely
• store ingredients correctly
• minimize waste
• and support the Head Baker with product development and new recipe ideas.

Requirements

• Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, willingness to learn, reliable teamwork and an understanding of bakery hygiene. Experience or training in baking is useful, while the ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent standards is essential.
