Head Hostess, Carbone – Atlantis the Royal

The Head Hostess will help lead the guest welcome experience within a premium restaurant environment, combining polished hospitality with efficient coordination across the dining and bar teams. The position requires natural conversation, confident communication and strong awareness of guest needs. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth restaurant flow, support colleagues and maintain consistently high standards throughout busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests naturally, creating a warm and professional first impression while avoiding scripted or intrusive interactions.
• Coordinate closely with the dining and bar teams to manage arrivals, seating flow and guest requirements efficiently.
• Use strong communication and customer-service skills to understand guest preferences and respond appropriately to requests or special occasions.
• Support the wider restaurant team during busy periods by maintaining organized guest information and helping manage operational priorities.
• Assist with service recovery by listening to concerns, resolving straightforward issues and involving management when additional support is required.
• Participate in internal and external training opportunities to strengthen restaurant knowledge, leadership capability and food and beverage awareness.

Requirements

• Around two years of experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant, or relevant international hospitality exposure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, confident and polished presentation.
• Ability to work positively in a high-volume environment and coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
• Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to handle diverse international guests.
• Professional attitude, teamwork, adaptability and willingness to continue developing hospitality expertise.
