Global Senior Manager – Commercial Applications Business Owner – Freight Forwarding

Lead the strategy and continuous optimization of commercial applications used by global sales, marketing and customer-service teams within freight forwarding. This senior role acts as the business owner and product strategist, shaping the application vision, feature priorities, operating processes and adoption approach. The successful candidate will connect commercial objectives with technology execution, ensuring CRM and related applications improve revenue generation, customer retention, productivity and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, roadmap and priorities for CRM and other commercial applications.
• Balance business value, user needs, technical feasibility and strategic priorities when managing the feature backlog.
• Coordinate global stakeholders across sales, marketing, customer service, technology and operations.
• Oversee development, testing, release management and quality assurance for application enhancements.
• Improve account management, sales automation, campaign processes and customer-service workflows.
• Establish data-quality standards and governance that support reliable commercial reporting.
• Manage integrations with ERP, quotation tools and other business platforms.
• Lead change-management, training and adoption initiatives across regions and functions.
• Manage external technology partners and ensure delivery, support and service quality.
• Promote continuous improvement and identify emerging capabilities that can strengthen commercial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, marketing, information systems or a related field.
• Strong experience in CRM, product management, sales operations or commercial technology leadership.
• Deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise and experience managing commercial applications globally.
• Demonstrated success with requirements gathering, UAT, release management, training and adoption.
• MBA, Dynamics certifications, Power Platform knowledge and international freight-forwarding experience are preferred.
