Global Assistant Manager – Business Analyst (Maternity Cover)

Job Overview

DP World is seeking a Global Assistant Manager - Business Analyst for a maternity-cover assignment in Dubai. The role works with Business Intelligence, operations, commercial and terminal teams to turn business data into meaningful insights that support operational improvement, customer understanding, business modelling and planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, validate and analyse business data from multiple sources.
• Develop business intelligence and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, MS Excel and SAP Business Objects.
• Translate stakeholder needs into analytical requirements and actionable insights.
• Investigate data discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy.
• Support operational process improvement through data-driven analysis.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards and ad-hoc reports for management.
• Work with global and regional stakeholders to understand business needs and systems.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, business intelligence, analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capability; Power BI experience is valuable.
• Ability to work with complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Understanding of port, terminal or logistics operations is advantageous.
