Description
The F&B Manager – Airport Outlets oversees service and operating performance across assigned airport food and beverage outlets. The role coordinates staffing, stock, food presentation and customer service within a time-sensitive environment where readiness and quick response matter. Effective management of daily routines helps maintain a consistent guest experience while balancing costs, supply needs and operational requirements. The successful applicant should be organised, dependable and committed to following operating procedures while helping the team deliver reliable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activity across assigned airport outlets and ensure teams are ready for changing passenger demand.
- Coordinate staffing, shift deployment and service routines to maintain coverage throughout operating periods.
- Monitor customer experience, product availability, service speed and food presentation.
- Maintain stock controls, oversee replenishment and address supply or equipment issues that may affect service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and outlet procedures.
- Review costs, wastage and operating reports and introduce practical improvements where required.
- Work with airport, catering and support teams to resolve issues and maintain reliable outlet operations.
Requirements
- Experience in food and beverage management, restaurant operations or a similar hospitality setting.
- Ability to manage multiple service priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Good commercial judgment and understanding of stock control, service quality and operating costs.
- Strong coordination skills and a customer-focused approach to problem solving.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hospitality management or comparable practical experience is relevant to the role.
- Experience in high-volume or travel-related service operations is useful; exact criteria were not confirmed.
