Description

DIB is seeking a Credit Analyst - Home Finance in Dubai to assess retail home-finance applications and support sound credit decisions. The role combines financial analysis, customer assessment, policy compliance, risk identification and post-sale credit support, with a strong focus on maintaining quality, timely turnaround and controlled credit exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review proposed facilities and ensure any deviations from approved product or credit parameters receive authorization under the delegated authority framework.
  • Monitor credit and market trends and identify potential policy changes that can improve portfolio quality and reduce risk.
  • Assess the authenticity and quality of facilities submitted by branches and sales teams and verify compliance with financial and non-financial parameters.
  • Apply retail credit procedures and service-level requirements to deliver decisions within agreed turnaround times.
  • Improve productivity and analytical quality while supporting acceptable audit and risk outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate daily and monthly data for management information and performance reporting.
  • Identify and escalate suspected fraudulent activity and other indicators of elevated credit risk.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive credit assessments and recommendations for management approval.
  • Evaluate customer profiles, employment, industry, financial position, existing liabilities, total exposure, repayment capacity, credit history and banking relationships.
  • Review Central Bank information, collections records, blacklist checks and other required system controls and ensure contact-point verification is completed.
  • Conduct self-audits, address audit observations and support after-sales credit activities including remedial solutions, restructures, cancellations, consolidations, retention and customer requests.

Requirements

  • Emirati national eligible for the role.
  • Bachelor's degree; relevant financial accreditation is an advantage.
  • 2–3 years of financial-services experience, including retail banking exposure.
  • Good knowledge of UAE property and home-finance markets.
  • Strong analytical, risk-assessment, documentation and decision-support skills.
