Description
The Product Manager - WFP promotes Canon products and solutions across assigned Middle East markets, helping translate regional business objectives into product strategy, pricing, launch plans, and sales support. The role combines market intelligence, partner coordination, product positioning, training, and performance monitoring. It works closely with area sales teams, distributors, headquarters, and marketing colleagues to grow product awareness and commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse market size, customer needs, competitor activity, pricing, and market dynamics across assigned countries.
- Develop regional product and sales action plans with area sales teams and distribution partners.
- Set product positioning and pricing guidance, support tender offers, and coordinate special-deal requirements.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and lifecycle activities from market introduction through end-of-life planning.
- Deliver product training for internal teams and distributors and maintain training materials and records.
- Monitor sales results, market share, gross profit, pipeline activity, and performance against agreed targets.
- Prepare forecasts and management reports and coordinate product, budget, and pricing updates with headquarters.
Requirements and Qualifications
- University-level education or equivalent professional background, with substantial product or commercial experience.
- The listing describes a senior profile with more than fifteen years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of product management, market analysis, product pricing, and regional sales activity.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to travel, respond to market needs, and hold a valid UAE driving licence as required by the posting.
